Buddy System
When a child joins Hopelands they are assigned a buddy from the older year groups. The buddy’s job is to nurture, providing support and encouragement outside of the classroom. Strong friendships are made over the year and the buddies are often seen playing together in the playground at lunchtime. At the end of the year a cup is awarded to the Best Buddy.
